William “Bill” Batton graduated from University of Maryland College Park in 1987 with Honors and graduated from University of Maryland School of Law in 1990.

Bill was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1990 and the Washington, D.C. bar in 2022. He is a member of Maryland State Bar Association. He is former house counsel for The Hartford Insurance Co., former house counsel for CNA Insurance Company, and former house counsel for Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company.

Bill has extensive workers’ compensation experience including major case exposure including death claims. He has taught numerous seminars for insurance adjusters regarding all facets of Maryland Workers’ Compensation. He is a former presenter for MWCEA annual conference and has briefed and argued a number of appellate cases in the Appellate Court of Maryland and Supreme Court of Maryland over the years.
