Litigator

Tyler Maizels was born and raised in Baltimore County, Maryland.  After earning a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Louisiana State University – Shreveport, Tyler pursued a Juris Doctorate at the University of Maryland – Francis King Carey School of Law.

During law school, Tyler engaged in significant practical experiences that shaped an interest in litigation. These experiences included an internship at the Public Defender’s Office, where he gained invaluable insight into the legal system. During his final year, his participation in the Fair Housing Clinic allowed him to offer pro bono representation to low-income clients, ensuring their rights to fair housing. Additionally, involvement in the Just-Advice Clinic provided non-representative legal advice to individuals with limited income and those with claims unlikely to be accepted by law firms.

Before coming on as attorney, Tyler clerked for GodwinTirocchi from March 2022 until his admission into the Maryland bar.
